Why Clinical Research?
“I happened upon an ad for a CRA internship out of college and though I had very little knowledge of the industry, I was charmed by the prospect of making a living wage while travelling. I quickly fell in love with clinical research, specifically captivated by the opportunity to continuously learn about a variety of diseases and drugs. The ever-changing landscape of clinical research perfectly fulfills my desire for continuing learning and change, with each client, indication, and protocol presenting unique challenges to overcome.”
This is what drives Candice:
“The human mind has always fascinated me and drove me to major in Psychology in college. I am especially intrigued by CNS trials and the various assessments that give us a glimpse into the patients’ most inner thoughts, their sense of self. I have seen firsthand how devastating many of the diseases that affect those inner workings can be, and I am passionate about expanding access to mental healthcare and bringing new therapies to improve these patients’ lives.”
