Ramona Kruce, Ph.D.

Project Manager

Ramona Kruce, Ph.D. has more than 16 years of experience in clinical research, including specific experience in respiratory indications, such as Asthma and COPD. Dr. Kruce spent 5 years as a CRA and has 10+ years of experience as a clinical project manager. In a recent Phase III COPD study with 2000+ patients across 119 sites and 10 countries, Dr. Kruce’s team hit their start-up and enrollment timelines, despite a challenging protocol. She also recently led a Phase III pediatric Pulmonary Fibrosis study, which included sites in the Czech Republic, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. As a CRA, she monitored a pediatric Asthma study, which included clinical sites in Latvia. She is familiar with spirometry measurements from that study. Dr. Kruce understands respiratory trials, endpoints, and assessments, and her many years of experience leading projects and teams to success helps ensure clinical trial conduct of the highest quality. Dr. Kruce earned a degree in Chemistry with a specialization in enzyme chemistry from the University of Latvia and earned her Ph.D. in Biology with a specialization in Microbiology from the Institute of Microbiology, Latvian Academy of Sciences.
